Marching for Christ
On May 1, 2005, several of Odessa's churches came together to march for Jesus
Christ through the city. I don't know what the final count was but it was
probably about 2,000 people altogether. Our church participated and even made
a couple of small banners with pertinent Biblical truths, to go along with our
balloons.
"KRCC Group At The Parade" - Larissa is holding the second sign, which
says: "One Lord, one faith, one baptism" from Ephesians 4:5.
"Marching For Christ" - Here is part of the KRCC group, who ended up being the
last walkers (i.e. just in front of the cars). Guess they saved
the best till the last.
"Parade" and "Parade 2" - These are glimpses of the parade as seen from our
spot as the last walkers.
"Bringing Up The Rear" - People on foot marched in front while driving
participants supporting us came along at the end of the parade.
"Parade Preparation" - This is Larissa helping with balloons and signs
(there were several other helpers also).
"Kids For A Future With Jesus" - Here is Kostya and Galya (brother and
sister) holding the sign that says: "Kids for a future with Jesus".
